FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – May 10, 2019; Andover, MA, - This year’s Annual Meeting and Reunion marked an entirely new experience for members, industry leaders and supplier business partners. The 32nd Annual Meeting and Reunion is a member’s only three day event and has grown in both scope and size every year. Our members come together to learn about healthcare trends and best practices, attend educational sessions and committee workshops, and connect with each other and supplier business partners. This year’s Annual Meeting and Reunion event took place on April 30 – May 2, 2019 and was held at Stowe, Vermont’s Stoweflake Mountain Resort and Spa.
Each year, Yankee Alliance recognizes top performing members for their exceptional achievements and commitment in reducing supply chain costs, performance excellence through leadership, and engagement with other members.
This year’s awards were presented to:
The Savings Award recognizes the acute care facility with the greatest overall savings per patient day.
Winner, less than 100 beds: South County Hospital, Wakefield, RI
Winner, 100-300 beds: Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH
Winner, greater than 300 beds: Glens Falls Hospital, Glens Falls, NY
SUPPLY view ™ Participation Award recognizes the facility that has implemented the highest percentage of savings identified through the SUPPLY view ™ analytics program.
Winner: Southcoast Health, New Bedford, MA
Participation Award recognizes the acute care facility with the highest utilization of Yankee Alliance programs and services.
Winner: Covenant Health, Tewksbury, MA
Pharmacy Utilization Implementation Award recognizes the facility with the highest percentage of savings through the Medication Evaluation Program.
Winner: Lowell General Hospital, Lowell, MA
Ethan “Jethro” Stansbury Memorial Award recognizes the member who best displays the spirit of Yankee Alliance - working together with Yankee colleagues, sharing information and best practices for the greater good while attaining maximum value for their institution.
Winner: Philip Oliveira, Southcoast Health, New Bedford, MA
Marit Davies Memorial Award recognizes the member who has exhibited innovative thinking, a passion for implementation, and leadership in the pursuit of healthcare supply chain excellence.
Winner: Dawn Deslaurius, Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro, MA
